Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) is Thailand’s first state of the art purpose built centre for international trade exhibitions and conventions. This is a one stop conventions, meetings, congresses and exhibitions venue with concierge and hospitality services. The 50,400 sqm of available space can comfortably accommodate major exhibitions, conventions and congresses, from 30-20,000 delegates, and over 100,000 visitors per day in six pillar-less halls and 20 meeting rooms.
Since 1997, it is proud to be the chosen venue for some of the biggest conventions, meetings, congresses, and trade exhibitions held in the region. In the year 2007 BITEC received the first Global Award for the best operations management from UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
BITEC is only 15 minutes from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport, and is linked directly wit the expressway to Bangkok’s city centre. The BTS Skytrain is to be extended to BITEC by 2009, at the moment the terminal station is only 4 kms away serviced by shuttle buses.
